A traveler may need data while keeping a work or personal number reachable. Confirm company mobile-device management policies and the provider’s compatibility, roaming and privacy terms before adding another profile.

Before you go

  • Check the selected line separately for calls, messages and mobile data.
  • If your home line stays on, ask your carrier about roaming charges first.
  • Confirm hotspot and APN rules in the plan’s own setup notes.
