Install an eSIM on iPhone: prepare before you scan
Menu labels can change with iOS releases, and providers may deliver a profile by QR code, link or manual details. Keep a working internet connection until the profile is added successfully.
Before you go
Confirm the iPhone model and carrier status, then follow the current Apple setup steps. Keep the QR private and do not delete the installed profile during troubleshooting without provider advice.
- Open the plan’s QR or manual activation instructions before setup.
- If data does not work, first check that the line is on and selected for mobile data.
- Change the APN only when the provider gives you an exact value.
If the instructions don’t match your phone
Menu names move between software versions. Follow the current manufacturer guide for your phone, then use the eSIM provider’s plan-specific steps for network settings.
