Add a travel eSIM to a Samsung Galaxy
Samsung’s instructions describe adding a mobile plan in Settings, while carrier support and model-region restrictions can still apply. A similar Galaxy name does not confirm identical SIM features.
Before you go
Check your full model number and Samsung’s current support page, then follow the provider’s QR or activation flow. Confirm which SIM supplies mobile data after setup.
- Open the plan’s QR or manual activation instructions before setup.
- If data does not work, first check that the line is on and selected for mobile data.
- Change the APN only when the provider gives you an exact value.

Menu names move between software versions. Follow the current manufacturer guide for your phone, then use the eSIM provider’s plan-specific steps for network settings.
